Stewed Apples


Ingredients:
6 cups sliced and peeled Granny Smith apples
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup apple juice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Cover and cook over medium-low heat 30-40 minutes or until apple is tender, stirring occasionally.
